We provide an information and advice service to residents in and around the villages of Castle Donington, Kegworth, Lockington, Hemington, Diseworth, Breedon, Tonge, Long Whatton, Isley Walton and surrounding rural communities.
We provide a Dial-A-Ride service for elderly, frail and disabled residents which provides door to door service to local shops and supermarkets.
We provide a social car service for elderly, frail and disabled residents who need to access to medical appointments such as doctors, opticians, dentists and chiropodists.
We provide a varied programme of outings and activities for people of all ages, abilities and interests.
We provide volunteering opportunities for people of all ages and abilities. We actively recruit volunteers for key roles including community bus drivers, fundraisers, social car drivers and passenger assistants.
People choose to volunteer for all kinds of reasons and all of them are right. Volunteering can fit into your existing life and it has the benefit of flexibility too. So when you have more time or less time – we work with you to plan your volunteering times around you.
If you can bring a mix of enthusiasm, life skills, work experience and personality to your volunteering you will fit in really well. We offer free training and out of pocket expenses to our volunteers as well.

Welcome to our corporate programme, where your business can be part of something local. You can build your social corporate responsibility portfolio with CDVC and get some valuable team building activities in return.
Small Business Scheme You can join our corporate programme which provides you with the chance to fulfil many of your corporate social responsibility targets and add value to what we do at the same time. We are able to provide team building activities and volunteering opportunities for your staff that are fun and will be easily completed in a day. You will be able to choose the sort of activities that suit your team's skills and experience and we will take lots of photographs for you to use in press releases and on your company website. Our corporate programme starts at just £20 per month which will provide you with one team building event for up to 10 staff and will include a light lunch.
Large⁄National Business Scheme You can join our corporate programme which provides you with the chance to fulfil many of your corporate social responsibility targets and add value to what we do at the same time. We are able to provide team building activities and volunteering opportunities for your staff that are fun and will be easily completed in a day. You will be able to choose the sort of activities that suit your team's skills and experience and we will take lots of photographs for you to use in press releases and on your company website. Our corporate programme starts at just £50 per month which will provide you with two team building events for up to 15 staff and will include a light lunch.
